MEET OUR NEW BOARD CHAIR

Breaking Ground is thrilled to welcome the new board chair, Jeff Walton. After serving as a Board Chair for a decade, Lindsay Clarke is happy to handover to Jeff, Breaking Groud's new, proficient Board Chair.Meet Jeff Walton, Board Chair, Breaking Ground


Jeff earned his doctoral degree in Sustainability Education with a concentration in community development and social-ecological resilience. His field research was conducted in Cameroon's southwest province and he has also carried out studies in both Kenya and Tanzania. Jeff is an international development consultant working with NGOs and academic researchers studying social and ecological issues in both sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East/North Africa. He is also a part-time lecturer at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont where he teaches graduate courses in the Master of Business Administration program. Jeff's research aligns and supports Breaking Ground's sustainable development objectives and approach.
